SYDNEY PHOTOGRAPHER STUDIO – ONE VISION STUDIOS

Our Sydney photographer studio is conveniently located in Sydney’s outer west in the suburb of Punchbowl; a vibrant and dynamic multicultural community and business hub. The studio is easily accessed from Columbine Avenue which is not far from the CBD’s selection of great cafes, restaurants and retail shops. If your project involves visiting our Sydney photography studio, we’ll provide you with easy location instructions as well as the best places to park well before you arrive.

By far the best way to initiate contact with us is to give us a call. After we’ve enjoyed an informal chat with you, we’ll both have a sense of how we’ll be able to assist with your project. Then we’ll set about providing you with a detailed estimate and suggest a production timeline to make your project a reality.

Do you have any accreditation?2019-01-05T03:47:45+11:00

Our primary accreditation is with the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP). To become accredited by the AIPP a photographer must:

  1. Demonstrate that they have been practising for a minimum of 2 years.
  2. Demonstrate that they have satisfied clients and suppliers by providing written references.
  3. Demonstrate that they comply with all legal, ethical and moral business requirements to practice as a professional in Australia.
  4. Demonstrate that their photographic skills are of our required “Professional Standard”.
  5. Agree to have a portfolio of their work, assessed by a panel of experienced AIPP image assessors.
  6. Achieve the required portfolio assessment standard.
  7. Agree to continue their professional development through the AIPP CPD program, maintaining up to date skills and business practices each year.

The AIPP continually monitors its ACCC certified accreditation requirements to ensure that the standard for accredited membership is appropriate for the profession of photography in 2017 and beyond.

How long after the shoot can I receive my visual assets?2019-01-05T03:47:04+11:00

Again, it depends on the size of your project, however as a general indication average projects are delivered within two weeks of conducting the shoot. Often the period of the shoot will extend over several weeks depending on environmental and human factors, so our promise of two week turnaround would naturally apply from the time the shutter is released.

Do you do provide a digital enhancement or photo retouching service?2019-01-05T03:46:43+11:00

Since only a small component of our business employs film photography, the vast majority of our images are digitally enhanced prior to delivery. We believe that digital technology has gifted photography with additional flexibility and opportunities for creative enhancements post camera. However, or core belief of capturing a subject appropriately ‘off the lense’ remains. This allows us to produce outstanding images with high efficiency while retaining the option of post camera manipulations as a creative tool.

Our fee structure varies depends on the scale of your project. Usually we charge an hourly rate for studio shoots and half day or full day rates for field work. The best way to get an indication of cost is to tell us what you need. We will provide you with an estimate before any work commences.

One Vision Studios we pride ourselves in maintaining only top of the range state of the art photographic equipment. Depending on the purpose, we have selected combinations from various camera and lense manufacturers which we believe gives us an edge in terms of image quality and fit for purpose function. Our tendency for camera bodies is towards Canon, however we also employ a range of Nikon cameras out in the field.

One Vision Studios are located in Punchbowl a suburb just west of Sydney CBD. This is where all of our in studio shoots are conducted. When out in the field, our primary service area extends from Wollongong in the south, up to Port Macquarie in the north and across to Dubbo, Parkes, and Coonabarrabran in the east.  However, depending on the scale of the project, we also travel to any location in Australia and abroad.

One Vision Studios was founded in 1979 by our Master Photographer, Jeffrey Hinks however Jeffrey’s experience as a professional photographer extends prior to the founding of One Vision Studios.
